Institute of Livestock

The Institute of Livestock actions are grouped into 33 programme units defined by a theme, the designation of a responsible and clear identification of employees who drive actions.

This organization helps to form working groups operating on a given topic, and take into account cross-cutting issues such as breeding partner land, organic farming, work in farms, production in an AOC framework, farm production, reproduction.

For each area a brief presentation of the activity in 2002 is available. For some, descriptive cards of actions are published. They summarize the areas of work and references already available. They are available on the website.

The Institute of Livestock is since several years working on the issue of emissions and sinks of Greenhouse Gases. It participates in national and European programs on this subject.
